This question is directed at Klep, being the all knowing vid card expert, but anyone with an opinion is more then welcome to respond.

I had to return one of the 7800s to BFG and they readily replaced it. But they replaced it with a 7900 GTX OC. Can I SLI with the other 7800? Is it worth the effort to get them to give me a 7800 and SLI the two?

See if they'll replace the other one! Maybe if you explain your quandry they'll take pity. I don't think you can SLI a 78 and a 79. That's pretty cool that they did that though. Is it a 256 or a 512?

I don't know about sli with the different cards, but I have the 7900gtx from bfg and it is an awesome card. You may get better results with the one 7900gtx over two 7800's. Not sure though...
