Steam is now selling ID

Murdock pointed out to me a few days ago that Steam is now selling ID titles. Which is ausome because now you can download and install Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Wolfenstein 3D and the new Wolfenstein, Hexen, Hexen2, Commander Keen, etc...
The really kewl part is the have an ID super pack, every ID license they sell for 69 bucks. But anyway the original Q4 license codes do not work with steam so you can't add your Q4 license to steam.
What I am curious about is will the Steam Q1, Q2, etc... versions be able to play on Q1 and Q2 installs that are not steam based.
I was this close to the ID superpack, but I was hesitant because i didn't know the compatibility issues.

I'm not sure how many Hexen Fans we have but man I would love play chicken wars again!

:curse: Damn...not fair! I was hoping for that. I just bought Bioshock and I hope that I can just put the key in from the box and have the install tied to my steam account. How cool would that be!

You still might be able too, their is section on the steampowered forum that says newer purchased titles will probably have licenses compatable with steam.

Its the older stuff that won't

Hey did someone actually see Q4 for sale on steam? They only go up to 3, maybe an issue with sales rights with Activision?
