Will the no internet cause a problem if we decide to play a Steam game like CS or DOD?
I know there is a way around it, just not sure how to do it.
Oh, btw, reeally excited to come and game. I'm glad I was able to get off work.

With Steam, you have to play in offline mode if there is no internet connection.
To do this, I believe that you have to sign on to Steam and don't log off Steam when you shutdown your computer. (Which means that you have the Steam icon in the System Tray, when you shutdown). When you get to the LAN party and startup your computer, it will try to connect to Steam. When it can't get a connection, a window will pop up stating that it can't connection and to either try again or play in offline mode. Choose play in offline mode and it will start Steam in offline mode.
As for the party this Sunday, I'll be there, but late because I have to work Saturday night into Sunday.

Great Diggs thanks!!!
The best way to set the system to off line mode can be found here:

The real trick to it is this: Fully update all your games that you will be playing. And then for EACH game that you will be playing...Launch the game and join an internet server to make sure that you are really fully updated, and then right click on your STEAM ICON and EXIT. Do not log off. Oh and also make sure that the last time you logged in, you had the box checked that said REMEMBER MY PASSWORD.
I installed CS:S, HL2DM, DOD:S, CS, DOD, DMC on the game server. If Digger has his DMC working, we'll use his.

Ok...now are you ready for classic UT. Please make sure you are totaly patched up. You need all bouns packs and the inoxx pack. That should be all you need, and if you are missing something, I think I have a server redirect turned on so you should be able to get stuff fast.
Here is the deal. I am really sick. I was out of it all day today. I was able to get a physical therapy appointment for tonight, so I may or may not be able to join you, but if I can't I will sit in the teamspeak server and adjust the server as you need.
Later. and wish me luck.
