Does anyone know what the difference is between the Nvidia 6800LE and regular 6800 chipset??
I am looking to get a new video card without spending a lot of money.

I don't know. I check with Digger.
Why don't you make a post about this over on BigBruin's board?

Give this link a look, it appears to be a slightly crippled version of the 6800 for OEM applications...

Yes as it looks, it slightly under powered. But in my opinion for a 30% drop in price. It will probably be well worth the purchase. I looked at the specs at Nvidia and the 6800 LE does not come with GDDR3. It looks like without the GDDR3 memory you don't need as many bus paths so it really won't be under powered.
GDDR-3 graphics memory is the next evolution of high-speed DDR SDRAM technologies that have played a major role in enabling GPUs to drive complex geometries and character animations and deliver visual effects on par with the hottest motion pictures. GDDR-3 graphics memory enables higher memory clock frequencies at a lower power level with fewer components and less constraints on system designers. These technology advances enable NVIDIA partners to bring higher performance solutions to consumers at better prices.
On the Tech Spec site the only difference it specifies is the absense of GDDR.

Now you have to decide if you want the Ultra with the GDDR3 that will give amazing poly generation speed.

Thanks for the info guys. I went ahead and ordered the Leadtek 6800LE from Newegg for $140. With it's massive heatsink, I hope to open some of the pipes and overclock it a little.
