Ok, I was all excited in dowloading the Battlefield 2 demo. BUT after installing the demo and trying to run it. It wouldn't do anything, just put me back on the desktop. I tried this a couple of times, to no avail. SO, I finally read the readme file and behold, the answer to my problem. I don't have an Geforce FX 5700 or better!! I currently have a GF4 4600. If new games start requiring better graphics cards, I will have to buy a new one.

Luckily...I just upgraded to the 6800...I can't wait to try it.

You should check out the 6800. I just got the winfast(leadtek) A400 THD. It was the least expensive. I was able to open the pipelines and the vertex shader. I restarted playing HL2 again last night...man what a difference!
