As an intro, I'm the tech guy for the CDL Maker space. We are about 35 miles south from Foobar Labs. The CDL (Computer Deconstruction Lab) is a community maker space that is a mash-up between the former IXR maker space and the CDL, which is next door.

Our lab is fully wired with a 1GB LAN right to the benches and work spaces. From our perspective, it's pre-wired for a LAN party.

Before our expending the effort in setting up a dedicated STEAM caching server, Is there a need for a LP location in Monmouth County?

PS - we have a decent podcast studio, so if you would prefer to talk gaming and stream video, CDL can help with that as well.

Classroom seats 24 right next store to the Makerspace, which seats another 12 people. Both areas are equipped with projectors.
Network is 1GB to the desk tops, 20A breakers for the outlets. Core is a Cisco 6059E with 10GB interconnects to the servers. Internet is OOL commercial.

Access is essentially 24 hour, lit parking lot holds 60 cars. Local pizza places know the site well for delivery.

Monday nights are always good, and Saturdays as well. Send me a PM if you want to take a look on Saturday

We came up with a simple way to put 15A of power onto a cluster of six folding tables for LP and classroom use.
