It's been available for a while, but I only recently started playing it. Claims to be free, but I can't test it because I already own the XBox version. I think I need to make a special controller to use because of how many moment and combat controls there are.
For the download, you get a map editor and a way to "test" the maps with a custom game browser and the ability to play any "arena" style game type. Meaning no single player campaign, or ranks(although your xbox rank does show), or REQ based(micro transactions) gametypes. Meaning, with the exception of SP, nothing of value was lost. There is no LAN play, but you can host your own game online and make it only available to friends, so as long as it doesn't care that everyone's on the same IP it shouldn't matter.
