LCD monitor repair

Anyone know how to fix a LCD monitor. ASUS Support gave me a hard time so I am not rma ing it to them. The LCD monitor looks like dirt is on the screen. I took a picture of the LCD. The screen dose not feel smooth at all. I cant seem to upload a picture. The size is bigger then 256 kib

Hard to tell... Did you say it's ON the screen or IN the screen? By that I mean, if you run your finger over it, is it smooth but raised or gouged?

I saw it at FNF. It was really strange. I can't remember if I could feel it or not. I think you could. I think they were like gouges. I didn't want to mess with it too much because Zack was in game. That was before I killed his system by stepping on his power supply.

yes it did not feel smooth. A bit bumpy. Looks like a indentation in the screen. Like a razor mark gouged into it.

My question is to determine if a large particle of dust or something got behind the lens/filter or if it was just carelessly gouged from the outside. Kinda sounds like the latter... I dont know if there really is anything you can do without getting drastic, like chemically melting it down a bit to level and then polish/buff away the imperfections...

figured that the best thing to do was to sell it cheep to someone.
