Wanting to sell my 2 xfx 7970 black edition cards. I wanted the xfx r9 290 card but was also debating about the nvidia gtx 780ti. Price is not a factor in my decision. I want to also go back to a single monitor and get 1 27 inch at 144 hrz. Thoughts.

144 Hz? That's very specific...

You're currently running triple monitors now, right? What are you going to do with the old ones?

I am looking to sell one monitor as of now. I might consider selling a second one but I need to see if I want to keep it for the server or not. The third one I plan on using for LANS. This is the monitor that I want to get.

Never been happy wit ATI stuff, every time I had one, either it wasn't performing or I had compatibility issues. Been running NVidia for a along time.

after looking around, you might want to hold off on picking up new monitors until more G-Sync enabled monitors start coming to market. So far, this is the only one out. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6824236313

Ok great post GTC. I am defiantly deciding to get the nvidia gtx 780ti card. I will hold off on getting a new monitor for a while.
