Server control

It looks like the latest patch for Win Srv 2003 has started messing with the VNC Client/Server I have installed on NJLPSRV. Anyone have a suggestion for something else?
I could enable RDP and RDP ports, but it does open up the server to login attacks. To counteract that I could setup approval via IP address but then it gets to be a pain to manage.
So if anyone is using anything like VNC but newer let me know.
