would this 8GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 RipjawsX work on an asus v gene 1150 socket?

You mean the 1155 socket? I don't think they make a 1150...

Now, the ram...
What 8GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 RipjawsX are you talking about? The 2 x 4GB or the single stick 8GB? I hope the 8GB.
However, why just 8GB? Why not a 16GB (2 x 8GB) Dual channel kit?
And what OS? Win 7 or Win 8? Either way, I would highly recommend at minimum 16GB. A bit overkill to some but it both boards max out at 32 GB and have 4 sockets, boiling down to 8GB per socket. So, why not max out the socket?
As far as compatibility is concerned, PC3-12800 will work on both boards without needing to overclock the chipset to saturate the bandwidth on the RAM (someone correct me if I'm wrong on that).

I think that should answer most of your concerns with options for you to mull over...

i mean 4x4gb = 16gb ...
and it is the 1150 socket .. ill be running win7 ..

what type of CPU do you want to use. If you are interested in overclocking, I would recommend the dual channel ram. I agree with GenTsoChiken

im not overcloking ..... anyway those are dualchannel .. thats why i want to get those one ./..

I would highly recommend 2x8GB vs 4x4GB for two reasons. First and foremost, it leaves you room to upgrade down the line. If for some reason you want to pump it up to 32GB, you still have two slots left to fill instead of needing to dump 2 sticks just to add more memory. Second, from a performance standpoint, although you will NOT notice the difference... populating all 4 slots will force undue stress on the micro controller, which would mean a very minor bottleneck. Keep in mind though, a benchmark would show the difference BUT day to day use or even gaming, you will NOT see it. So that reinforces point one.

Also, you still did not fully specify which board you're getting. The V Gene isn't LGA 1150, the VI Gene is. So... where are you going with this? What else are you throwing into this machine? Will you be running SLI/Crossfire? What processor?

It's hard to help without any real specifics...
