Some of you guys may remember me. It's been awhile since I have been to a LAN party besides Maryland LAN Gamers. Just wanted to let everyone know The GXL is back! The GXL Resurrection 2013 will take place October 11th-13th. The event will be at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, which is about a half hour from Philadelphia. You can expect to see many of the awesome things you have seen with The GXL in the past, such as a huge BYOC, pro tournaments, prizes, non-gaming competitions, and much more. Hey Desolator, Good to see you pop in here. I haven't been to MLG in a long time. I'd like to go again, but it is hard to get away with a family now. I'll get back there again. In fact, you just reminded me...Leatherman sent me the date for 2013. I need to add them to the calendar on the front page. I'll add the GLX date while I'm at it.

We are trying to get a count of people for GXL. I'll start a thread tonight to see if we can get the count rolling.

I will be at the two MLG's before the GXL. Maybe I will see you there or some others from NJLP. I'm in MD so I don't have to travel far.

Thanks for adding the GXL's upcoming event to your site. I know it's early, but awesome to see you guys already organizing a big group to go the GXL.

The GXL has announced the list of tournaments that will be held at the next event! These competitions range from PC games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress, and Starcraft 2 to Console games like Super Street Fight 4, DJ Hero, and Halo 4. We will also be having side competitions like the Wing Eating Competitions, Case Smash, and Photoshop Competition. Check out the link below for more details on the tourneys. The price for a BYOC spot will go up to $45 starting June 3rd (next Monday). Register and prepay now while it's still $40.

Will there be an s2i reunion? Have you talked to Pat? Not sure if you remember me but I hung with you guys many many years ago.

I moved to Maryland three years ago so I have been out of touch with Pat and some others guys lately. We had our last s2i reunion about a couple years ago, but many did not show up. Maybe it would be a good idea to try it again, s2i reunion and friends.

No Facebook. I talked to Pat a few years ago and he told me you moved to MD but I haven't talked to him since around that time. I do have AIM though.

I actually came across this by going to the GXL website today, no idea why and saw they are still around. Googled your name and ended up here. Unfortunately I doubt I'd be able to make it to the next GXL due to work, and all I really play is BF3 anyway.

Oh okay. I haven't been on AIM in awhile, but I will hop on sometime to catch up with you.

That's cool you were able to find me. Even if you cannot go to the GXL to game, at least stop by and say hi to everyone. We all had a bet on how long ago you died

I may be able to do this, depends on a few things. Server definitely stays home, its basically a dedicated mindcraft server now.

Ok, I think I'm good. Gotta put in for my PTO that weekend. Noodle will most likely come. Gotta bring it up with the peeps from the old boards on FB and remind them it's in 6ish weeks and get a head count.
