It's coming along. A bit more wiring, sheetrock the "closet", seal up one stubborn sky light. Still have to make the bed frame. A bit more involved seeing as how it a diy murphy bed. The computer desk is almost done, just need a tungsten carbide bit to arrive and I can countersink into the stainless top piece.

Here's a shot of some seats I snagged out of some dumpsters at a applebees.

You can see some of the inside from that shot.

And here's the nearly complete desk.

I'm using VESA mounts for the lcd screens. Center as landscape, right as profile and to the left will site the laptop. I've also threaded many more hole into the beam so if I change my mind I have a total of four configurations I can do. You can't see from this shot, but there's a shelf above that the tower, Back-UPS, external HD, and what ever else will sit.

I feel like doing the building right the first time and decided on a premium type of epoxy floor paint. Not the stuff you get a Lowes or Home Depo. I found a company that makes the stuff for industrial applications. They're even in Long Valley and can pick up the paint freshly mixed. It's going to add a about two more weeks because it's not simply one coat. It's Grind, primer, epoxy w/color flake, clear coat w/traction additive. The clear coat is even rated for brake fluid and acid. I'm going to be calling the rental place and seeing about a floor grinder tomorrow.

I'd rather do it right then do it twice.

I also got my new mattress in and now I have to make the Murphy bed. And you see how I made the desk? I decided on using 8ft tall supports and adding a shelf above the main computer for addition storage. I have more ceiling hight then floor space in the spot where it's all going. I also order a third support and will be designing a wardrobe built into the side of the desk. I figure it will save more floor space that way and I get a better solution then anything I could buy.
