Murdock, have you considered switching to Teamspeak 3? Digger and I were using it when we did Infected and it sounded great. Just something to think about. Not sure how difficult it would be to switch over to TS3.

I've already downloaded server and plan to install tonight.
the licensing is such
Non-Profit License (NPL) Unregistered: This license allows a maximum of 1 virtual server and 32 slots. This is the default, embedded license when you download TeamSpeak 3 for free and do nothing else.
Non-Profit License (NPL) Registered: This license allows a maximum of 10 virtual servers and 512 slots AND requires registration via Triton's website.
We should be able to get away with the 32 slots but I am going to look into registering as a non profit to get the 512 slots.

Ok...I downloaded TS3. We will be switching over shortly.
If you don't have TS3 yet...better get it setup soon.

Ok...the TeamSpeak III server is up and running. Give it a test log in. The ip is the same, and the port is default. Luckily, TS2 and TS3 use different ports. Unfortunately, TS2 and TS3 use different ports. This means that TeamSpeak is now using 6 port forwarding rules, and I am running out. I will have to turn off TS2 if I want to start another game server.
I'll start closing down the TS2 server in the next couple of weeks. Make sure you get TS3 up and running. If you need any help, just let me know.
To Download TS3, go to
www.teamspeak.com!

Not to get all
Stallman on you but, did you consider
Mumble? It's FOSS so there's no license problems. I don't know if your server host allows it.

Ok...due to a power outage...the TEAMSPEAK2 Server has been shutdown, and will not be brought back up.
Please let me know if you have any issues accessing the TS3 server.
Thanks,
Murdock

See what happens why you buy an old house. Ends up the circuit in the upstairs bathroom is on the same circuit as the one running my servers and workbench in the basement. So I haven't been able to do anything until the bathroom is done. Once its done I'm going to install a seperate circuit for the bench and servers.

Yeah...me....I've got no excuse. I've got a brand new laptop, and I am just too tired to play anything.
I'm heading to bed now. This sucks.
Nite.
