Woot!! I'm going to have to try this.

I've been following this for a few months now. Glad there is finally a release date. I'll be trying this too. Make it so....

Nice to know there will be someone else out their in the stars with me. Just gotta get Murdock to try it.

Yeah, I hope I like it. I tried Eve and couldn't get into it. Hopefully, the familiar content will help. There is a star wars one coming out too i think...

i am also looking foward to this mmo myself.

Well...I'm not looking forward to it.

It is just going to highlight exactly how much time that I DON'T have to play games.

I don't have enough time to play the games I got...I don't need more games.

Oh well.

Yup, got mine ordered. Still haven't received the code for the open beta or head start yet from gamestop though.

I ordered through Atari and got it right away.

Check with gamestop.

I already have an account on the website and I just had to associate my serial with the site account.

Any word on the monthly fee?

Beta begins January 12, 2010 and runs through January 26, 2010. Head start will begin on January 29, 2010, and runs through launch. The $5 deposit will be deducted from the full purchase price of the game, which will automatically be charged to your credit card on the release of Star Trek Online on February 2nd.’

Finally got my beta key. Gamestop messed up and didn't have me on the list. I think this will be my last gamestop purchase. After mw2 and now this, I'm done.

Well, I'm downloading the client so I'll be ready for tomorrow. I have off tomorrow too, so plenty of time to play.

Considered taking the day, but my partner is all ready scheduled to be out.

Good thing you didn't take the day digger. The game server was buggy and glitchy for the first 9 hours. They took the server down around 10pm to apply a patch. When it came back it was actually very good. No crashes or disconnects in my 3 hour session. It looks good, I'm impressed.

I foresee wasting a lot of time on this game.
