Ok...lets start setting the date for the next party. How does the end of January look for everyone? I'm thinking Saturday to Sunday night, with a possible set up/ preparty Friday Night.

We should also talk about the games that we'll play. There are just too many out there, we'll need to narrow it down a bit.

Sweet, finally another NJLP party! Well, I vote for first week in Feb, that way I could bid leave for it. I'm not able to bid for January.

As for games...BF2, COD4, COD:waw, UT3, left 4 dead, company of heroes?

Sorry to say that I'm not gonna make it. Its a bit far to travel to only be playing UT3. I'm just not a war sim fan...

I know these dates aren't on the weekends you're thinking about, but they're close. Other than that there shouldn't be any problem for me. And because of how often NJLP patties occur I think longer the better.

Any update on party dates?

I have to bid my leave from work on Jan 30th, so it would really help if I knew by then.

just started getting into more Lan events..would love to make any of the next events in 09 and future ones for 10 season.

Just a note for those thinking of the first weekend in February 2010 (5th-7th). Not absolutely certain, as the NFL hasn't announced the official schedule, but the SuperBowl will most likely be the first weekend in February. Might want to do a different weekend.

Of course, I suspect that a portion of our attendees may not truly care about the SuperBowl.

And also, for those that do, it usually isn't until Sunday evening, well after we normally have packed up.

We definitely need a NJLP LAN. It's been far too long. I think the last one was when halo 3 came out. I think early next year would be great. I don't have weekends off anymore, so I need time to get the days off. We bid for leave in October, so I can get guarenteed leave if I knew about your parties by then. What do you say Murdock? Is 6 months enough time to throw one together? I'd be happy to help any way that I could from VA.
