"Anime Blinded Me With Science" Movie Night at FUBAR Labs

I'm hosting a science themed movie night at FUBAR Labs this Saturday. We'll be showing Summer Wars and my Rocket Scientist friend will be on hand to discuss some of the science going on in the scenes. We'll also be playing clips or whole episodes of other science related shows with discussions.

Admission is free and while you don't have to RSVP on the Meetup page, it would make planning out seating easier.

The event had a good turn out and was well received. We watched Summer Wars and did a discussion afterwards on the science shown. With the time left, we showed clips of other shows and did some discussion on those.

We'll be doing more Movie Night in the future and will probably be spinning off a "Panel Night' from this.
