This games sounds so good from the outside, I wish I had the time to get into it...
This latest large scale battle sounds nuts, especially the real world dollar value of the in game assets lost (200K).

Good read, pretty epic, do you play?
Bleh, Signatures mean nothing to me!

Nope. Every one of these I read makes me want to, but ultimately I just don't have the time a game like this requires.

Weird thing about the game, all exp earned is done in real time. You set a skill to learn, and log off... If you want to do anything else, obviously, you need to long in. And the traveling... Man, plot a course and let auto pilot take over, then walk away and make a sandwich... Though not particularly advised as if you fly out of secure space, you can get griefed... Of which leaves you "podding" your way to a space station to pick up a new ship or returning to your insurance policy (Think the movie "The Island").
Granted I'm not saying the game is bad in anyway, but it has a bit of a knack to it... It's strangely quick and at the same time, very slow...
