Android Rooting

Anyone know how to root a phone. I do not want the software updates OTA from verizion anymore. Very happy with the way the phone is running now. I have a driod razr maxx.

Android police forums for the Razr/razr maxx - all things root. It has a how to guide.

You could also check out xda-developers.

Something to look into. I found a one click install but not sure if a specific one needs to be used.

All of my rooting, imaging, and rom builds have come from
http://www.xda-developers.com/
Forums by phone and provider.
Bleh, Signatures mean nothing to me!
