Welp. The snow globes were virtual snow globes that steam was giving away with purchases and every 3rd vote in the community winter sale.

There were 10 different globes in the set. When you collected a complete set, you could 'craft' them into a steam badge for 100 xp.

If you didn't want to play the crafting game, you could have just sold your globes for about 15 to 20 cents.
