SDR Reciever Help

Post by bmeister1 »

I have no idea what is going on with this. I bought a SDR receiver and I found a link to make a radio out of it. I am very clue less to what needs to be done. Here is the link and the item I bought. I get no audio out of this receiver and I am not sure what is going on. I also just installed the TV tuner and I get no channels. Any ideas. What can I do with this thing anywhay.

TV signals are not all that strong, most indoor antennas sucked, not sure if it's better or worse now that it's digital/HD. So I'm not too shocked you're not getting much as far as TV.

The link you posted for the software radio had a link itself to a very extensive document, looks like there's quite a bit to this.

I'd suggest starting with the SDRSharp program listed in the above link. Based on the screen shots it appears to include a spectrum analyzer which should help in finding an active frequency.
