Hackers aren't bad
What do you think of when you hear the words "computer hacker"? Most people will think of a 14-year-old kid, sitting in front of his computer screen, creating trojans to mess up other people's computers for fun. This is not a hacker; the correct term for this is a "cracker." Crackers are also called "black-hat hackers."
A normal hacker, or a "white-hat hacker," is not bad at all. A hacker is someone who enjoys programming and learning about computers. Hackers don't hurt people, they help people. Many hackers can be hired to help test out security measures for people's Web sites. You might not think it, but Bill Gates was a type of hacker.
Crackers are ruining the hacker scene. They are making people fear hackers. Don't fear us. We won't bother you. We will always help you with your computer needs.
So if you have a computer problem, don't blame us; ask us for help, and you will get it. And please, do not call these crackers hackers. It encourages them to be more malicious and harmful.
