I'll be on quite a bit this weekend, so feel free to pull me in if you need a body to activate the fleet.

Gotta love being a Lifetime Subscriber!

STO LIFETIME PERKS

Greetings Lifetime Members!
We just wanted to thank you again for purchasing a Lifetime Subscription from us. As you already know, this entitles you to play the game without paying a monthly fee. But, that’s not where it ends. Later this month we’ll be releasing special perks for you, just to show our appreciation. Here’s some of what we’re working on, exclusive to Lifetime Subscribers:

Exclusive In-Game Chat Channel
Talk shop with other Lifetime Subscribers. Share thoughts and ideas about the game, or anything else.

Front-of-Queue Support
Waiting isn’t fun, and we don’t think you should have to do it. Any time the server is queued, you’ll go to the front of it.

In-Game Title
Visibly show off your support.

In-Game VIP Lounge
Spend time in an exclusive area inside the game. This social area is limited to Lifetime Subscribers only.

A Unique Costume Piece
Show off your lifetime status in style.

We’ll see you in-game, and thank you again!

admiral on the bridge!

u guessed ti for those of u who don't know i made admiral the other day :D

While i was at space dock i picked up an assault cruiser, then i bought a reg t5 cruiser.

i was thinking of getting a fleet escort as well but i seem to be out of cannons and turrets that are fit for an admiral. :(

Hey all, remeber this? Well its been fixed, not sure what they did, but its not happening anymore.

Made a bit of a discovery the other day, in some respect its good to know or it may just piss you off.

You should all be familiar with the enemy contact instances that float around each sector. They are usually used in the "Defend the Sector" missions.

Well I entered one in the Romulan sector the other day and joined forces with 2 other Commanders. We were all about the same level and as it happened to be, our ships were cruiser, science, and attack so overall a good combo. Problem was every enemy group in the sector had NPCs flying a Captain level ship 12 levels above us. Needles to say we got hammered, after our third obliteration, out of the blue shows up to admirals in their ships and within 10 minutes we were done. So with only one more of those eliminate 9 groups of bad guys I waited around for the instance to reset.
The admirals never left but they sunddenly take off and head away from the "battle" area and disappear into the distance,
Its a crappy way to play the game but its an exploit...

Also, after talking to the GM, an instance that is new, will generate NPCs based on who is in the instance. In the case of the roaming enemies each time you complete the task the instance restarts and will base the new enemies on the players in the instance.

Made Commander last night, finally.

Noticed something myself with those deep space encounters, I've been pulled into them several times now while they're on the timer to reset and I'm spawning right in the middle of that special mob with the flagship in it, these are the Romulan ones in the Alpha Centauri sector. That damn flagship tractors me and I'm fragged almost every time, before I can warp out via that initial dialog even.

Not sure what's up with this, but it'd be nice if they'd spawn me out of range of instant hot death.

Nice! Glad you made Commander! I'm just about to make Cap 8 so I will hit Admiral soon.

Once we have enough Caps and Admirals we should look in to doing some of the big missions.

Ok, the special lifer perks are pretty cool. Career officer title is a nice touch. The Captain's table club is really cool. It feels very posh, and I love how the greeter and concierge are orion slave girls. The fact that there is a taylor, bank, exchange, and ship stuff there is nice too. Less riff raff...hehe....

Digger, I found out what the borg tribble was all about. That was a gift for anyone who beta tested the tribble server before all the new stuff went live.
