RAM timing question

Post by [FETT]Cupcake »

Hey everyone, I have a ram question, and need your opinion because you all know more than me. Will there be a performance increase going from 2gb of ddr400 ram with 3-3-3-8 timings to 2gb of ddr400 with 2-3-2-5 timings.

I can't imagine it being all that much, but I was just curious.

RAM Timing

Post by Digger[NJLP] »

Ok so I haven't ever changed my RAM timing, since I have never had a reason to.

This article gives a great explanation of what the numbers mean and whether or not you really want to change them at all.
