Now, here's a question for you...look below the POLL on the NEW POST screen. Can you set up an event? The MOD says who can do start new events can be customized, but it doesn't tell me how to customize it.

Nope...that's not it. It was my fault. I removed the permissions to create an event. It looks like the only way to respond is if I give everyone the permission to create an event. I will look into restricting that.
