LANparty at TCF
LANparty at TCF
Anyone interested in doing a LANparty table at TCF-32?
For those that don't know, it's not really a LANparty. It's more like a LANparty exhibit. It's from 9:30am till 5pm on a Saturday and Sunday April 28-29 at the annual Trenton Computer Festival. We just play and answer questions as people check it out. We are usually by the computer user groups / Podcasters / Trekers /Retro computer groups.
I don't know how many people we can fit yet so I wanted to see how many people will confirm they can be there and BYOC. If you're a part of the LAN you'll get a free pass to get in.
If I can get a lot of people who will show up we may be able to move it to a spare room off the main room, instead of being out with the vendors and groups.
If you're interested in being a part of it EMAIL me at gamers@optonline.net
Thanks Gregg

I think we'll have about 8 spots for people. I should be getting tickets for people soon. I'll have a cell phone and when people arrive I'll be able to run out and give them their tickets.
I don't think we're allowed to sell stuff in the room we're in, but I'm checking on it. The vendors sell new stuff inside and old stuff in the flea market. If you want to get a table outside thats the place to sell it.
It's real easy. Get in free and just hang out and answer questions if people stop to ask. If anyone has banners for their LAN please feel free to bring them. BTW it's worth going to even if you don't get in free.
If you don't mind dragging your computer down to Ewing please email me at gamers@optonline.net
Thanks
Gregg

LANparty at TCF
OK guys. Someone screwed me again. I can't get tickets for people. I know how dumb this is but there must be a miscommunication (every year)! I don't have the cash to buy, so I'm sorry for putting that in my last message.
All I can say is that it's 12 bucks online (17 at door) for two days and it's worth it. It's a very cool show.
There's a difference of opinion of how to do a LANparty at TCF. Because it's only 10 till 4, I'd rather turn it into a LANparty exhibit. Because the players have to drag their computers to Ewing I'd like to get people in for free, to advertise gaming and maybe get new people interested. Thats also why I went smaller this year. 8 people rather than 14 or 20.
So if you don't mind paying to get in I'll see you on Saturday in the Rec Center at TCNJ. http://www.tcf-nj.org/web/
