Sweet looking.

Conversation I had with Cold.
Cold:They're never going to come out with ut2k7 you know.
Me:Why not?
Cold:It's been pushed back so many times.
Me:But it's called UT2k7. 2k7 as in 2007. Why would it have come out earlier?
Cold:Pssh

that is also why they offically changed the name to Unreal Tournament 3 ... so they don't have to be confined to a year or to pre "date" their game. Cause any way you slice it .. UT2k3 and UT2k4 Just SOUNDS old... not that it is any less fun to play! It just sounds old. and eventually 2k7 would fall to the same fate .. where as Quake 3, Quake 4, CoD, CoD BF2 .. are all timeless in respect to their names.

Hm I didn't even realized they renamed it. I still think it will come out this year. Hopefully I can drag everybody off BF2 and play something a little faster paced.

You're not a Private!!!

You're a Private FIRST CLASS!

Now if you would just get off your butt and pick up your shinny new shotgun from the armory!

You're next level is only 299 points away...I did 300 points last night!

I think that ranking system is half the reason you guys are so hooked on that game.

I don't mind BF2, it can just get tiring to play it sometimes. And at the last NJGamers that was the only game played. I got strange looks when I suggested something else.

Yes, I agree with Nill. If the only game a LAN Party plays is BF2 thats a pretty boring Lan Party, in my eyes.
Granted if the majority of the people at a LAN party want to just play BF2, then so be it. But if that has the potential of happening, that should be announced prior to the party so time is not wasted.

Beetle (Digger)
The world's laziest, most lovable, work-shirking private represents every person's struggle against authority. Beetle is a typical American boy from Kansas City, Mo., who, although he never deliberately does anything bad, is always in the middle of trouble. And when he's not searching for an out-of-the-way place to take a nap, he's daydreaming about getting out of the Army. Beetle is also the brother of Lois Flagston, from the strip "Hi & Lois."

Sgt. Orville Snorkel (Murdock)
The volatile yet sensitive Sarge barks AND bites. But beneath it all, he's as shy and as awkward as they come. In fact, it's because of this innocence that Sarge is so happily married to his one and only love -- the Army. Also near and dear to his heart are his best friends: his dog Otto, and any amount of food he can pile up on his plate.

I like BF2 at lans cause well you know who is where... I mean at one NJGamers I was WW's Johnny on the spot mechanic. I didn't care about any rank or anything (cause on a LAN Server there is no rank) but we had fun and killed quite a few people. I also thanked the driver a few times by yelling out "WHAT THE F!!!"

But true BF2 is not the only game out there.. we suggested some Flatout2 (Race car / demolition derby) and we got looked at wierd too. Generally we play alot of different games... FPSs, RTSs, and anything in between.

You can see a good example of this in our Xfire Clan listing...

Wish we could put more then 10 games in there.

Ok so he may not be volatile, but I liked the Private to Sgt comparison. Though when Murdock gets pissed its kinda scarry!

Dude car racing! Demolition derby! I'm so in..

I'm a huge Need for Speed Fan, SE to Black Edition, I'll check out Flatout 2 and have it ready for the next LAN. We need to do more driving!

The NFS series has an online version but its not very good, I would love some LAN racing..

Flatout 2 is a blast ... there isn't much customization as in NFS series. Does include Nitros and EVERYONE can play (controls are real simple).

the only MAJOR catch in LAN situations is matches are MAX 8 Gamers. But the best solution? Have 2 ore more games running at the same time. 8)

We'll def get some Flatout going next lan!
