Airshow season starting off soon.

Post by Digger[NJLP] »

Hey guys I'm planning on taking Eddie to quite a few of the air shows in and around the area.. Link below will take you to the page for the one in AC..

http://www.atlanticcityairshow.com/2006/main.html
The one in AC will have both the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds, this is a must see!

I'll post the others as the info comes available.

Let the flash finish do not click "Skip Intro" its a bad link.

That sounds awesome. I have seen the Thunderbirds perform twice in Daytona for my school's homecoming show Wings and Waves. Sounds like a very similar setup. I wonder what kind of airspace restriction that is going to cause. I work air traffic above that area.

Hmm not sure either. Though the FAA facility usually plays host for the shows aircraft along with the 177 Fighter Wing..

Well, Atlantic City Tower probably hosts it. We (Washington Air Route Traffic Control Center) own the airspace above AC Tower and approach. Probably won't have much to do with the event, but it's still cool anyway. I hope I can make it.

This is cool, someone who can answer questions!

I had about a meeting a month at FAA a few jobs ago and loved watching them test jets taking off and landing. But then it was just the Technical Center. I have never actually been to it once it became ACY.

So yeah I guess you could say Atlantic City International is hosting it. Scary part is, I thought they were two seperate locations. Untill this conversation sent me to the web site for FAA.
