BF2 Airborne Ribbon

We have been doing a lot of talking about BF lately, so I figured I would put it all in one place.

BF2 Airborne Ribbon

Post by Murdock »

It seems like everyone's got that damn Airborne Ribbon but me.

Image

I won't be able to play this week, and by the time I can...I expect that

o TOME will be promoted to Corporal.
o Bashbang will pass me on the way to Sargeant
o Demanster will be promoted to Sargeant

BTW congrats to Cupcake as he recently made Gunnery Sargeant!

Oh and after last night...I am done with servers that disable VOIP. I do not want to join your VENT or TEAMSPEAK server...Sorry.

Hey murdock.
Thanks, it's actually only Gunnery Sergeant.

Oh, by the way. i'll tell you how to get the airborne ribbon. Take a plane or chopper and fly up high. Then jump out and open your chute. You have to be in the parachute for at least 10 seconds to get your ribbon. Better make it 15 seconds to be sure. That's how I did it.

Oh, here is a good site to track your stats. It also tells you how to get each ribbon and badge. http://bf2s.com/

D'oh...Sorry...I first thought it was sgt Major...then when I checked, I added the gunny and forgot to remove the major...I'll correct it.

Oh yeah...Demanster told me how...I'm looking for it to happen in the line of duty. No stat padding for me...I did earn basic Aviator tonight. Even though the stats don't show it.

We're using that site...Check our NJLP LEADER BOARD. Its got eveyone on it...If I forgot anyone, let me know and I'll add them.

Dude, just get the ribbon...that ribbon is hard to come by in the course of battle. Not many maps where that is possible.

Oh, by the way...anybody up or a little WAN tonight? Maybe all join the same server?

I'm itching to try my new cable modem service. I switched from my crappy dsl type thing and went from 1mb/sec to 4.5mb/sec. Woot.

I had a completely sh**y night last night. We lost 5 games in a row! No one was playing together. Guys were not joining squads...we didn't have a commander most of the time, and when we did, they weren't any good.

We have got to get everyone together so we can all team up on a squad and get stuff done. Then break up and each one take squad commanders and run the show.

We would be unstoppable against the amount of disorganization out there.

Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I've found though that whenever you try to get a bunch of people together you always endup on different teams.

Ok, you guys should definitely get the BF2: special forces exspansion pack. It's 30 bucks and you get new maps and weapons. Plus the ability to get special forces badges and ribbons. The best part is that you get to use the Speacial forces weapons in the regular BF2 games. Example: when I installed special forces I was a staff sergent and I was immediately able to unlock 4 more weapons. Then when I was promoted I was able to unlock 2 more.

There are some good weapons in speacial forces. The sniper rifle is awesome, as well as the spec ops rifle, support, and assault. A bonus with the assualt is that you get flashbangs!!! They are very effective. Just my two cents. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys on tonight.
