Re: Teamspeak Server shutting down
Discord looks interesting, but one thing I'm not seeing is a way to find a server. Looks like maybe we need an invite or a direct link?

Re: New Star Trek Series
Yeah, same here. I doubt it'll meet with much success if they're expecting everyone to pay given what we're shelling out already for cable and such.

You might try the official forums to see if they have a thread for that.

Re: Pax East
I've gone to this every year so far, it's increasingly difficult to get tickets, the three day passes were sold out within about 30 minutes. If anyone is thinking about going next year your best bet is to start watching the event's twitter account daily starting about mid November. The tickets have ...

Re: xbox one
All depends on your monitor and board. The xbox one has the following for audio/video i/o HDMI out: HDMI cable connects here and then to your TV. S/PDIF: Optical audio output (optional; optical cable not included). HDMI in: HDMI cable connects here and then to your HDMI-compatible cable/satellite re...

Re: Can the XBOX camera spy on you?
Can it? Sure, it has "predator" vision and pretty much sees everything. I have no doubt there's someone out there that could code up something nasty to do so. Am I worried? not really. I don't have my xbox connected direct to the internet, it's NATed like everything else, which is by no me...

Speaking of anime - RWBY
I came across this on Netflix, it's done by Rooster Teeth the same folks that brought us the Red vs. Blue machinima. Not sure if it's technically anime since it was made in the US, but I really enjoyed it none the less. The official link below, both seasons are also available to stream in Netflix. h...

Your best bet is to keep your eyes on the site http://east.paxsite.com/ and follow @Official_PAX on twitter.
Tickets have *not* been easy to get the past two years, selling out inside of an hour last year.

Extrasolar browser game
I've been playing this for a few months. It's very well done, decent immersion, it's free to play and not all that limited without spending. No micro-transactions but has a reasonable (to me) subscription. Basics is that you're remote piloting a rover on a distant planet exploring and collecting sam...

What happens if you pull half your ram and run for a while? If it still BSOD's switch out to the ram previously removed and run on that. That's the tried and true method to sort out bad DIMMS.

Re: Nircmd icon
You've got what appears to be a CLI shell and a .NET component suddenly appearing? Sounds like some sort of malware infestation to me. You install anything like a browser and any apps from a less than reputable source? Newtonscft.json.dll is sometimes installed with visual studio, but the desktop wo...
